Pointing styles


Here’s a brief look at the pointing technique of some of the good pointers at the 2009 Pallino d’Oro played on the lightning fast, synthetic surfaced courts at Michigan’s Palazzo di Bocce.

Notice that in international rules you may step on, but not completely over the foul line. You may step completely over the line once the roll is released. Note that some move several steps toward the target after release, others do not. The common denominator among these deliveries = they are all “smooth as silk.”
